All of humanity was created good and upright to be in a relationship with Jesus and depend upon God. However, sin entered the earth through Adam when he rejected God's way and instead lived for himself. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned." (Romans 5:12)
The way our rejection of God has been redeemed is through Jesus Christ. "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
"Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's disobedience, the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience, the many will be made righteous." (Romans 5:18-19)
Jesus paid the price that saves you from your sin — it's His gift, but it's your choice. You can receive or refuse the gift of salvation that comes through Jesus.
We believe that immersion in water baptism is a powerful way to identify with Jesus because he was baptized. Water baptism symbolizes that you were dead in your sin, but Jesus washed your sin away and gave you new life in him. Water baptism is separate from salvation. You do not have to be water baptized to be saved; it's a decision to make a public declaration of your inward transformation in Christ. (Matthew 3:13 & 15)
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are essential for living a life full of Christ. Believers in Christ should identify the unique way in which the Holy Spirit has gifted you, and then use those gifts to build up the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
We believe that the Holy Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. (2 Timothy 3:14-16)
We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, the Second Person of the Trinity. Jesus Christ is 100% man and 100% God. He is the only man ever to have lived a sinless life.(1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe repentance is a commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ. Through repentance we individually receive forgiveness of sins and appropriate salvation. A Christian is a person who has invited the Lord Jesus Christ to come and live inside him by the Holy Spirit. He is putting his trust in what Christ accomplished for him when He died, was buried, and rose again from the dead. (Acts 2:38; Revelation 3:20)
We believe the church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Christ's great commission. Every person who is born of the spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. (Ephesians 2:19-22)
We believe the Lord's Supper is a unique time of communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and wine (or grape juice), expressing in some spiritual way the body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, are taken by believers in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. (Matthew 26:26-28)

Great question! Most people dress casually for our Sunday services. You’ll see it all, from jeans and shorts to dresses and slacks (maybe even some yoga pants and sweatshirts). God is not looking at what we wear. God is looking at our hearts (1 Samuel 16:7).
If you’re bringing kids, you can check them in to Sego Kids! This area provides age-appropriate classes during the Sunday morning service, where kids learn Bible lessons through interactive games and activities that support their growing faith. We have three separate rooms. Each room has background-checked volunteers and teen helpers who make church a fun place your kids want to be at!
Babies: 6 weeks to 2 years.
Preschoolers: 2 years to 5 years.
Elementary: kindergarten to 5th grade.
